Scott Johnson's 1972 Coupe

Click each image to enlarge

Name: Scott Johnson

Town: Arnold

Year of Car: 1972

Model: Two door coupe

Color: Primer at the moment, but soon to be white.

Body and Exterior:
Stock

Suspension: Probably will be mostly stock when finished, but may lower the car a little bit, and add four wheel disk brakes and sway bars.

Interior: Factory bucket seats and console, with factory tachometer and gauges. I am considering installing the upgraded custom interior.

Wheels and Tires:
Most likely will be 15” Torque Thrust D’s, 8” in the back, 7” in the front with B F Goodrich TA’s

Engine and Drive train:
Came from the factory with a 350. Has a mild cam, aluminum intake with Holley carburetor and now has the old factory double hump high compression heads. Currently has a turbo 350 automatic, but am considering a 700R4. If my budget allows I will also upgrade the rear differential to a 12 bolt positraction.

Exhaust:
2 and ½ duels with headers. I’m not sure of the brand because they were on the car when I bought it.

Sound System or Accessories: Maybe a factory unit in the dash with a better sounding more modern hidden unit.

Years Owned: I purchased the car in 2005

Comments or Stories about the Car:
This is a work in progress; some of the things listed on this sheet are speculation.
